Dr. Betty Rozendaal Dr. Betty Rozendaal BES, MA, R.Ac, ND, (Clinic Director) is a Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Acupuncturist,  dedicated to guiding you on your path to optimal health and wellness. She treats a wide variety of health conditions and offers services for every age, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Dr. Rozendaal has a strong interest in environmental medicine and an in-depth knowledge of the effects that common environmental contaminants and toxins have on our health. She routinely treats women's health concerns including hormonal balance, fertility, menopause, thyroid health, and healthy menstrual cycles; men's issues including prostate concerns, erectile dysfunction, infertility; children's health including acute or chronic infections, eczema, behavioral issues and food and environmental allergies; digestive disorders in people of all ages, and seniors concerns, including chronic and acute pain, insomnia, cardiovascular disease, cancer and healthy aging. As well, she offers specific corporate group and individual programs for smoking cessation, nutritional counseling, weight management and detoxification.

Dr. Rozendaal's passion for Naturopathic Medicine and environmental issues goes back more than 20 years from the time she graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo. Prior to graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she worked for over 15 years in the environmental and energy industries, where she developed and directed environmental programs in the natural gas, electricity, nuclear, and wind energy sectors. Dr. Rozendaal has travelled extensively and has had the opportunity to work in Indonesia, where she developed an environmental research center and trained local staff in water quality issues. She also has had the opportunity to speak at numerous environmental conferences in Canada and in Europe and participate in several international climate change and sustainable development meetings. This extensive experience has given her in-depth knowledge into the effects that environmental contaminants have on our health and the role they play in many diseases.

Dr. Rozendaal is a certified Wilson's Temperature Syndrome Physician and will work with you to optimize body temperature and thyroid function through nutrition and herbal medicine. She is also certified in advanced injection therapies such as Intravenous Therapy, mesotherapy and biopuncture, and offers specialized treatments such as infertility acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Rozendaal trained on the Oncology shift at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and interned at Sherbourne Health Centre and Anishnawbe Health Toronto, working with patients to help improve their quality of life, decrease the side effects of their medications and help keep their immune systems in balance.

Her values include an integrative approach to health, through preventative medicine, acute and chronic care and individualized treatment. As a primary care doctor, she believes it is her duty to spend adequate time with each patient and to listen, educate and tailor each visit according to your needs, encouraging you to take an active role in your health. She is happy to work with your other health care practitioners to provide you with the most well rounded, best care possible.

In addition to naturopathic medicine and the environment, Dr. Rozendaal has a passion for fitness and sports medicine. She is an avid skier, mountain climber, hiker, and kayaker and is a certified PADI scuba instructor. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, The Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

 Veronika Zhmurko MD (Europe), HD, PhD (Clinical Immunology) Classical Homeopath. Dr. Veronika Zhmurko is a practitioner dedicated to Classical Homeopathy. She graduated from the National Medical University in Ukraine with a specialization in Family Medicine. Veronica  received her PhD in Clinical Immunology from the Kiev Medical Academy. Not being satisfied with the conventional approach to medical treatment,  Veronica  received intensive training in Homeopathy through the  International Academy of Classical Homeopathy of George Vithoulkas in Greece, as well as at the  Canadian Academy of Homeopathy led by Dr. Andre Saine. Veronica has been  practicing Classical Homeopathy for more than 20 years. She strongly believes in treatment of the person as a whole and the most effective way of restoration of the health.

Integrative Practitioner and Reiki Therapist

Paula Porumbaceanu Paula Porumbaceanu, MD (EU), Paula Porumbaceanu is a European trained Medical Doctor since 1995. She graduated in 2000 from  a 5-year specialty program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, in Romania. During her residency she discovered the benefits of alternative medicine, and enrolled in a 3-years training program in classical homeopathy, and another 2-years international course for medical doctors in homeopathic therapeutics with CEDH France. She continued her studies in alternative medicine in Canada with homotoxicology, gemmotherapy, iridology, and Reiki method of natural healing, currently integrating them in her practice.

Registered Massage Therapists



Angelina Lourier,  RMT,  
Angelina is a graduate of the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy.
Massage Therapy as an excellent way to decrease stress levels and to feel better and more in tune with one self, be it through a Relaxation or Deep Tissue massage.

Angelina believes that the mind and body connection is crucial to sustaining a balanced lifestyle. Her approach is geared towards individual client needs with a focus on health and wellbeing. 

Angelina pursued a career in Massage Therapy as a continuation of her interest in Hatha yoga, which she has taught for several years. She  is always advancing as a Therapist and continues to take courses to diversify her treatments.


Clency Ah Lan, RMT (Currently on Sabatical),  has been a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario since 2012. Clency is trained in Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal, Reflexology and Thai Yoga massage. He incorporates Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Manipulation, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofacial Release and Relaxation techniques to treat a variety of conditions including muscle imbalances and pain management. He also likes to incorporate Hydrotherapy and stretching into his treatments, allowing for the facilitation of a speedy recovery. He will also conduct functional testing and suggest home care stretching and strengthening exercises when needed.

Clency's goal as a therapist is to create a session specific to each client, based on their individual needs. He believes everyone can attain a healthier body and mind through massage therapy. Whether for rehabilitation or simply for relaxation, he believes in the profound ability that the human body has to heal itself given proper facilitation.

Reiki Therapists

Alyssa Zobary Alyssa Zobary (Usui Reiki Master) has been a Reiki practitioner since 1998 and is a member of the Canadian Reiki Association. She is also practices Transformational Energy Healing and has had her certification in Biodynamic Massage and Psychotherapy Counseling since 1990. These important healing disciplines have enabled Alyssa to work with people challenged by a variety of different illnesses and maladies, both physical and mental.

Often times, our life struggles lead to overwhelming stress, anxiety, eating disorders, depression, anger, poor self-esteem, or exhaustion. Yet, despite our every effort to restore our good health, we often create destructive or traumatic patterns that keep repeating themselves. We are thrown off our life journey and feel lost to the path of health, peace and joy. Erika Alvarez,  Office Administrator,    is a Certified Medical Laboratory Techician  with Phlebotomy and ECG training. She is currently filling in for Mylene while she is on maternity leave, She is professional,  energetic and  her enthusiasm and warmth are obvious when you meet her. Orginally from Mexico, she is also fluent in Spanish.




Amber BrunetMylene Salanguit, Office Administrator (currently on maturnity leave)

Mylene is a Certified Medical Office Assistant with a Phlebotomy and ECG health care diploma. She always strives to achieve the highest standards possible and has a wonderful ability to relate to wide range of people. Assisting doctors and responding to clients' request with good and professional attitude is what she does best.
